How to Play

1Setup

  1. Print the word search sheet.
  2. The word list is printed beside or below the grid.
  3. Words are hidden horizontally, vertically, or diagonally — and may run forwards or backwards.

2Playing

  1. Scan the grid row by row looking for the first letter of each word.
  2. When you spot a word, circle or draw a line through it.
  3. Cross the word off the list once found.

3Winning

  1. Find all words on the list to complete the puzzle.
  2. For competitive play, the player who finds the most words in a set time wins.

4Tips

  1. Focus on one word at a time.
  2. Look for uncommon letters (Q, Z, X) first — they are easier to spot.
  3. Check all eight directions from each starting letter.
