Guess the hidden word before the hangman drawing is completed.

How to Play

1Setup

  1. One player (the "host") thinks of a word and draws one blank dash for each letter.
  2. Draw an empty gallows on the sheet.
  3. The other players are the guessers.

2Guessing

  1. Guessers take turns suggesting one letter at a time.
  2. If the letter is in the word, the host writes it on all matching dashes.
  3. If the letter is not in the word, the host draws one body part of the hangman (head, body, left arm, right arm, left leg, right leg — 6 parts total).
  4. Already-guessed letters are written to the side so players don't repeat them.

3Winning & Losing

  1. Guessers win if they complete the word before all 6 body parts are drawn.
  2. The host wins if all 6 body parts are drawn before the word is guessed.
  3. Reveal the word if the guessers lose.

4Tips

  1. Start with common letters: E, T, A, O, I, N, S, H, R.
  2. Think about common word patterns (e.g., "-ING", "-TION") once some letters are revealed.
