Sink all of your opponent's ships before they sink yours.

How to Play

1Setup

  1. Each player gets two printed 10×10 grids — one for your fleet, one to track your shots.
  2. Secretly place your ships on your fleet grid (horizontally or vertically, no overlapping).
  3. Standard fleet: Carrier (5), Battleship (4), Cruiser (3), Submarine (3), Destroyer (2).

2Taking a Turn

  1. Call out a grid coordinate (e.g., "B-7").
  2. Your opponent checks their fleet grid and replies "Hit" or "Miss".
  3. Mark hits (✕) and misses (○) on your tracking grid.
  4. When all squares of a ship are hit, the opponent says "You sank my [ship name]!"

3Winning

  1. The first player to sink all five of the opponent's ships wins.

4Tips

  1. After a hit, fire at adjacent squares to find the ship's orientation.
  2. Space your ships apart to make them harder to find.
  3. Use a systematic pattern (e.g., checkerboard) to cover the grid efficiently.
